THE HOUSE OF TOXIC MASCULINITY

What could be a “toxic masculinity ?”

Maybe, paradoxically, a masculinity unsure of itself.

The typical inferiority complex generating a superiority complex.

Humanity, as a whole, in its patriarchal mode, can be described as being governed by a “toxic masculinity.”

All those men… thinking, in the Christian religion (but maybe in all three Abrahamic religions) that they were created first, and only then, from Adam’s bone, Eve.

Eve, the domesticated woman… the woman who accepted the low condition of being born from Adam’s bone.

Sad… we wonder… how many men would accept, or would have accepted, to be born from Eve’s bone, like an afterthought ?

Not many, we believe.

So of course… the toxic masculinity eliminated matriarchy and started to assert itself from indeed very old times.

FORCE – WARS – MUSCLES – INFLATED CHESTS – EXCESSIVE SELF CONFIDENCE – COCKYNESS.

And here we are, today… the global warming, the rising levels of the seas, the melting of the icebergs.

But the toxic masculinity continues.

And the war in Ukraine is the latest example.

Before, though, there were other wars… more legitimate ? Not really, no…

The thirst for oil, for POWER AND SPEED, FOR ENERGY, ENERGY, ENERGY… what about Iraq ? Was that war more legitimate ?

What about all those other wars ?

MAN continues.

The measure of all things.

ANTHROPOS.

THE PHALLIC ANTHROPOS.

THE KING.

Perhaps trembling inside with insecurities, but outwardly sending bombs, bombs, bombs.

For how long can we continue like this ?

We ask you to design the paradigmatic HOUSE OF TOXIC MASCULINITY. That masculinity that does not know itself.

That masculinity which imagines that the world was made in order for its thirst for dominance to manifest itself.
